As you cut or copy, the clips appear in the yellow slots. To paste them back, just click on them.

You can expand it, and save clips permanently in the white slots....

And as you hover the mouse over your clips, you get a preview in a popup window. If the clip is text, you can read the first several lines....

And if it is graphic, you see a thumbnail version...
